Disable Mirror Autodimming?
Hey guys, does anyone know how to prevent the rear view mirror and driver side mirror from auto dimming?? I got a 20% tint done on the back and don't want to continue to use this feature, but am unable to find the setting for this.

I'm almost tempted to swap with you. I only have auto-dimming on the driver's side (right) the left is clear. I used to have it on both sides.
I find with 35% tint under normal driving the auto-dimming is not that bad TBH it usually reverses that some days I need to roll down the window to reverse. |

Totally. I thought my car had a defect initially and then I went to the dealership and all the new cars even a 150k car didn't have it. Seriously BMW? I guess they stopped doing the passenger side years ago from what I read. Unbelievable.

Even worse the dimming on the driver’s side mirror doesn’t extend all the way to the edge any more, so there’s a little strip of mirror that can still catch the light and blind you.
Almost everything about the new car is better but the F22 has better mirrors. The entire mirror dimmed on both sides. |

Maybe that's ok on a Kia but the last gen 2 series, the F22, *did* extend all the way to the edge of the glass. I had one. So it's another lame cost savings.
