E93 2008 convertible 320i

I have got a misfire on cylinder 3. It doesn't happen all the time sometimes the engine management light goes out and it runs fine. But most of the time the engine management comes on and the engine is misfiring and no power. I brought a new coil pack but seems to be worse with it on than the old one. Can anyone please help or advise me.

did you try switching the coil pack, and separately the spark plug from cylinder 3 to another cylinder to see if the problem migrates? i suspects its one of those 2 components if you haven't already checked
