BMW M 50 Year Emblems
OK, so I really tried to get these installed from the factory (front, rear, and wheels) but when I submitted my order in early January the option was not available at the time.
It was showing online as a $200 option only about 3wks later. My dealer was reluctant, for whatever reason, to add it to the order--although they said they would try to order some for the car once it came in for delivery. Fast-forward to mid-May when we finally picked the car up. Love it! Asked about the badging and they noted that they "did not realize the 50yr anniversary badges included the wheels" so they were trying to get those as well. Now that my CF rear spoiler has finally shipped (after 2mo), I asked the dealer about the badges and they got back today noting that they can put in an order for the whole set right now--but for $354! What does everyone think--worth it or not? It would be going on a Mineral White Metallic w Shadowline trim so would definitely be a pop of color to the car. |

Check out the vendors in the vendor market place. $50each for front and rear so even if wheels are $100 you're still saving $150 then install them yourself.
I ordered from bmwpartpros in the vendor section I did not do the wheels so I don't know the cost. I have the floating roundels and didn't want to lose them

Thanks for pointing me there.
Still kinda pricy but I guess that is to be expected. Savings from BMWPartsPros would be about $74 cheaper and I have no problem installing them myself (would probably do that either way). Still trying to decide. |
