New review m2 g87
In German originally posted in the wrong forum on f87
Translation coming soon Edit: Summary translation below Overall he talks about it very positively. No bad part/criticism in this video. The new M2 is closer to the m3 in several areas. While driving the were talking about the good handling and the nice suspension, since the BMW guy is calibrating the suspension on the Nürburgring. The car will also be available with a 6 speed manual transmission. In the video they had a 8 speed automatic. Otherwise not much info, probably bc it's still a prototype. It will be bigger and heavier than the old one. Last edited by GrannyShiftG80; 07-21-2022 at 09:16 PM.. |

@5m35s Car gets revved, sounds decent. Mind you this is an EU car with a particulate filter. NA cars will be louder.
@7m00s He goes in a ride along with the BMW representative. The rep said that they wanted make the M2 more agile than the current M3/4. He talks about the front axle being stiffer while the rear is softer, something we already knew. He admits the G87 weighs more than it's predecessor and doesn't sugar coat the fact. @11m35s Goes for an Autobahn run, gets up to 292kph (181mph). @13m22s Launch control demo, seems to hook up well. |
