I retrofitted my 2020 330i with Laserlight, had before the retrofit the base LED headlights. afterwards i purchased the HBA from the ConnectedDrive store. The HBA function only turns the high beam on and off, It doesn't filter out the car in front of me or oncoming traffic. Can this be solved by means of coding or am I missing the hardware for the Selective beam?

I went to the dealership, they told me that i am missing a camera in the windshield. Afterwards he showed me his own car, also a 3 series with laser headlights and the same camera in the windshield?

Mine has 3 cameras (US car, Lasers, Driving Assistant Professional/Parking Professional/360 cameras).

Have you confirmed the need for KAFAS4? I was able to code EU anti-dazzle in my previous Canadian F32 (with KAFAS2 - single camera).

Perhaps our German members without DAP can confirm anti-dazzle functionality (or not)

I just re-read your original post. Were the lasers coded to your vehicle properly?

Where did you get the headlights? From what I'm seeing, they're over $2000 USD a piece, when it's an $1000 option from the factory

They're about $2,900-ish US. https://www.getbmwparts.com/oem-part...mp-63118496168 - This is the OEM right laser light without shadowline. It looks like the shadowline versions are the same cost. Latter pre-LCI builds had the lasers as a $1,000 standalone option. Originally, it was bundled with the Executive Package.

As far as i know they’re coded correctly. Everything works fine, no warning lights, headlight work when turning, when i put it in reverse the headlight light up the areas near the front.

Bought both the headlights for 2500€.

From your description, it would appears the laser headlights are coded correctly to your vehicle.

Did your vehicle come from the factory with height/level sensors? These sensors should be installed on the driver's side (front & rear) suspension. These sensors are used to adjust the vertical aim of the headlights.

Do you have access to ISTA+? If you do, run diagnostics to determine if any warnings or errors relating to this retrofit exist.

The G series will probably be in production for at least 5 more years so idk
