Talking 2020 BMW X2 or BMW X3

Hey everyone,
I thought I would discuss this BMW comparison for the BMW X2 & BMW X3.
Years ago I had a galvanic gold X2 (back in late 2017) and I thought it was a solid car. Comparing it to the current BMW X3 however the current X3 offers many features as standard (such as touch screen, latest idrive, double glazed windows, heated seats to name a few).
Although there is a 10,000 price difference, the time you add in the m sport package and tech pack etc the price difference is much closer. I currently have a 2020 X3 M sport (don't know what to replace it with).
I found the whole thing interesting, what do you think?

Ps if anyone wishes to see the comparison, see the video below:

I had an X2 m35i prior to the m440i and I really loved the size of the X2. The X3 seems huge in comparison. I never got to drive the m40i X3 but I bet it's a blast. The simplicity of the X2 was nice and the m35i had a pretty good interior and the 300hp i4 was the car equivalent of a yappy dog. Just a feisty beast but very unrefined.

It was supposed to be a car I kept long term but I had multiple drivetrain malfunctions and other things that just kept me antsy about being out of warranty. Even though I didn't get a deal on the m440i I was able to take advantage of the ridiculous used marked and get 33k for a 3yo car so that took the sting off trading it.

I briefly had a gold X2 as well (2018) and we’ve had a 2014 X3 (35i, M Sport) for years. I would get the X3. The X2 looks like a sporty SUV from some angles but a hatchback from others. The X3 is unambiguously an SUV, just the right size (the X5 is a little too big and the X7 a monstrosity) and very fun to drive. The tech is outdated, but if you’re getting a 202x model that won’t be an issue.

I love the size and the look of the X2 BUT it is basically a rebadged/reskinned FWD mini. If you crave all wheel drive, it probably doesn't make a huge difference although the bias will still be to the front. If you like driving a two wheel drive car, the X3 will be way better as it is RWD.

The X3 always wins on just the smoothness of the engine compared to the X1/2.
