Just wondering what your thoughts are with the new Akro system? Did you go full system with headers? Did you run it on the dyno to see pre and post?

I replaced the secondary down pipes which had 1 CAT each, so those are now straight pipes.

From what I've been reading I should leave the upper CAT pipes intact because of the horrible exhaust smell it creates without them. But who knows... hahaha

Yes. I went with the full Akra Titanium system. (what a piece of art by the way).

Waiting on the replacement charge coolers then I will take it for a DINO. Unfortunately I didn't DINO before so going with what the Factory says 619 HP.

My guess is about a 50 HP increase.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts The GreatM8, I agree and have read the same about the excessive exhaust fumes dilemma re primary dump pipes. I would love an Akro system but the Australian prices are through the roof here as they are gouging us because some car fanatics are willingly paying $15-$20k (which is what I was quoted also) for a full system...crazy. Shame you didn't to a pre and post dyno to know exactly what the gains were...look forward to seeing your final dyno post on here so we can in time compare

You may be disappointed in the actual HP gain, especially $spent/hp gained, if that’s a thing. I think more are doing it for the sound because our beast M8 don’t sound beastie at all.
