Hello. 07 328xi with 156k miles. Upon acceleration from 1700-2500 rpm's the car shudders extremely bad. Indy shop said center support bearing was bad for driveshaft. I will look into this but many people say these symptoms are torque converter shudder. Will post a video of the issue. Do you think a bad support bearing will cause this type of vibration only under certain rpm's? From what I've read the center support would do it almost on any speed if it was bad, could be wrong. Do you think this noise is torque converter shudder or possibly just the center support bearing (haven't had time to actually visually inspect the bearing personally, as life is rough) trans fluid from what I'm aware was never changed by previous owner up until my purchase of it 25k miles ago.

Throw a couple of tubes of Shudder fix in the trans and call it a day. My 06 has had torque converter shudder for the last 100k miles but a couple of tubes of the shudderfix stuff made it smooth as heck.

If you change the trans fluid you will need to add more Shudder fix because it will begin to shudder again. If it doesn't fix the shudder then its likely your support bearing.

For the record I HATE adding any additives to anything like oil/gas/etc. But this is the only additive I will ever add.

I have the same car and when I bought it the same thing was going on. I didn't notice until I got the 4X light out then it was obvious. I dumped the trans fluid and filled it, ran it a while in the air and then changed the fluid and filter. I think I only used 1 tube of shudder fix. Cured the problem.
