I suspect that's where they would stick the AdBlue tank on a diesel.

Yes, it is for DEF when the car uses diesel, according to the Performance Center tech who delivered mine in June.

I use it to wipe off the excess gasoline from the pump before I put the pump away so no gas dribble gets on the paint ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Be carefully, use only approved blinker fluid or you could void your warranty. Applies to vw for now, but I'm sure BMW will follow suit: https://carbuzz.com/news/future-vws-...-blinker-fluid

It's the carburetor primer, just like the ones on lawn mowers and blowers. Sometimes if I don't press it at least 10X the engine won't start on the first try.
