SensaTec vs Dakota for replacement center console

Hello!

I'm looking at ordering a split center console, as there's not a comfortable place for me to rest my right arm while driving long distances in the e90. Currently, I'm looking at M0dbargains who has the SensaTec around $155 and the Dakota for $268.

My car has black Dakota leather, but no matter what, the armrest will be new while the rest of the leather is 17 years and 200k miles old. I'm thinking a savings of ~40% makes the the SensaTec route seem like a great option, as long as the appearance would be very similar to the appearance of the leather. Any opinions one way or the other?

sensatrac feels cheap, split armrest is so so cause it raises the height while exented, I find I rarely use it, I have a manual

I love my split armrest, especially on long road trips.

Get the leather, you'll appreciate it and the driver's seat is really the most important seat in the car!

Dakota isn't exactly high quality, but it does look different than the Sensatec. Would go leather to match your interior
