Do I need to remove downpipes from turbos when pulling n54?

In the process of pulling the engine and see a lot of videos telling me to disconnect downpipes and catback exhaust but nothing mentioning if downpipes should be removed prior to pulling. Can anyone help me out? I would 100% rather not pull them as it was a bitch to put on haha
