G42 Getting New Trim With Ambient Lighting

I just got a bulletin to highlight a trim change for the G42. M lights in the dash trim now.

Still bothers me that the light blue should be the smallest lighting up to the red being the largest to match the lighting in the doors. Just my unusual need for consistency.

I'm trying to understand why my 2022 m240i does not have the M ambient lighting on the dash but it does have it on the doors. Looking for some answers.

But hey, you got door pocket ambient lights, a better gear shifter, USB-C ports in the back, pockets in the back of the seats, and physical climate controls.

Any idea if the seat backs are identical on the 22 and 23? I’d consider replacing them for pockets if so…

Sorry, I honestly don't know since I wasn't interested in the 23 model due to all the things that I listed that changed not for the better (IMO) and I didn't like the look of ID8 since I preferred the hooded cluster style. Perhaps someone else can weigh in.
