Holiday ix3 just sitting for 3 weeks

Hello what will happen when I go on holiday for 3 weeks and leave my car in the garage. Will it be drivable when I get back from holiday or will the battery be empty. Any help on this would be great. Thank you.

They sit on the ship for longer than that.

Be just fine, charge the drive cells to 75/80% and leave it be, should watch its 12v and keep that sorted with the dc to dc and shouldn't be bothered by it. Turn off any pre warming/cooling you have set

I Leave mine at the airport on a regular basis for a couple of weeks at a time and it doesn't change the SOC at all.

Does the DC to DC converter kick in when the car is left? I ask because the DC to DC converter doesn’t kick in during intermittent solar charging. The DC battery drains down to minimum essential DC power and then shuts off charging. The car makes no attempt to recharge the DC battery.

With my i3 during the Covid lockdown, I followed a recommendation from the US which was to open/close a door to get the DC to DC converter to kick in for 30 mins.

Left mine for 18 days without issue, jumped in (after setting pre-cooling whilst in the airport) and it never complained. Turned straight on etc. One of the benefits of the 12v system not having to turn a heavy load starter over I suppose

I left my car charged to 90% and left it unplugged for 7 weeks while I was away and it is still at 90% now I am home again. Not bad 👌
