G42 M240i Stealth Brooklyn Grey Style and Build

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
I own a F80 M3 and G42 M240i, have owned the G42 for three months, as a commuter vehicle it's really really good and fun, for performance the B58 engine is no joke.

Wow this looks fantastic! Curious what the story on the roof is? I know in NA markets the sunroof delete was not an option on 240s for some reason.

It's a nice looking car, congrats. Very svelte. The rear though makes me think it needs to be a hatchback though.

The G42 240i front and rear was a great starting point for an aggressive and bold M2. Unfortunately, BMW took a hammer to the 240i's design language sans the lights, replaced triangles with squares. From this gorgeous example, it's clear the bones were there for a progressive M2 design. Head scratcher.

Lol I would pay more for this than the new m2 based solely on the body styling.

I'm assuming the roof and paint are vinyl? They look great. Why did you go MST for intake and downpipe? Heard the gains on the intake are pretty much nothing over a high flow filter. I'm leaning CGI or AA for the catted DP. I like the dual tips, but they don't appear to be level? These are mine.

His follow the angle of the factory rear fascia opening, yours are parallel to the ground. A matter of preference.

Sheesh. Killed it. Absolutely gorgeous.

That's what the rear of the M2 should look like.
