European Certificate of Conformity
Hi Everyone,
So I have my BMW 118D ST Sport that I bought over here in Guernsey, Channel Islands where I have resided for over 5 years. I intend to move back to the United Kingdom within the next 3-6 months (fairly quick!) and I am struggling to obtain a European Certificate of Conformity from BMW, and I even included the VIN Number in the email too. Now I'm on the phone to the DVLA to ascertain if this is definitely required (been on hold over 15 mins...) but just posting here to ask if anyone has any advice on how to get this certificate quicker, or if it's even required? Your assistance would be hugely appreciated as I'm a bit lost unfortunately. I have researched and it looks like if I can get this CoC, I have to get the vehicle inspected in the UK. I just get a standard 'we're very busy' reply at BMW, which I understand. Kind Regards, Tristan |

Hi Tristan
Have you contacting BMW UK Customer Services? They are usually pretty helpful. customer.service@bmw.co.uk

Thanks for replying. Granted, I haven't done this, and will do but I would imagine they will just give me the email address I have used twice now. Will try though, thanks! |
