Possible to remove those front bumper sensors?

I know this may not be answerable right now but I wonder if not optioning active cruise control and the parking sensors removes those awful black adar/lidar sensors on the front of the cars bumper. Really dislike those.

Garage List
Pretty sure I’ve seen videos of the M2 without those … protrusions, so I think so.

Edit: I’ll update if I find what I swear I recall seeing.

This is my question, but it looks like those sensors are for the active cruise control not parking assist

Cool. Well, with a manual tranny, I don't even think active cruise is an option. So it stands to reason that my car won't have those stuck out hump things.

Parking assist is typically only available on BMW’s equipped with an automatic. What consist is in the package varies model to model.

Yes but are those large sensors up front for PDC or active cruise control, my guess is they are for active cruise control

Sorry, that is not the case. They are for PDC. If you look closely there is no center sensor for ACC which btw is only optional on the automatic.

I'm pretty sure this is the active cruise control sensor in the centre of the bottom grille.
