Any g8x owners switching over to g87?
Just curious how many of you are switching over I had a g80x that I sold recently which I absolutely loved. Reason for selling is that I got an offer I couldn’t refuse. pretty stoked about the g87 though. Going to have to buy much stickier tries for the m2.

Yep
I miss the smaller size and 6mt Edit: when I look at this pic I sort of can't believe I'd trade this thing. |

Same here as Trent, I prefer the smaller size, wish it weighed less though. I sold my G82 for a good profit, took the money while I still can.

I'm not going to switch, yet. I plan on selling my RS3 to buy an M2, and also keeping the M4CX. If they do eventually release a M2 with xdrive, that's when the M4 will go bye bye. I love the M4, but prefer the looks and smaller dimensions of the 2.

I'm switching from my G42 M240i - that's how much I love the new 2 series platform.

Let's see how it goes! I have serious car ADD. I think my a90 supra was the longest i've had a car ( almost 2 years) I'm picking up a daily CLA 45 to hold me over until the g87 gets here

So, current G8x owners: is it because you've become inured to your car's looks (a fine drive though it is), and are now in search of something with similar aesthetic shock value to when you originally got the car?

Only had my '23 G82 xDrive for 7 weeks and it isn't going anywhere.
Planning to keep long(er) term than I normally keep my cars. Considered waiting for M2 but knowing it was not going to be AWD (for now) and not a Competition either made the decision even easier. If/when an AWD Competition G87 becomes available, I may consider making the switch. |

I've thought about going back to an M2 from my G80 but honestly probably won't do it...yet. My plan is to hop back over to Porsche for my first 911 but we'll see. I'm first on the list at my dealer for an M2 CSL (if/when that becomes available) so we'll see if that's worth pursuing.

I am also first on the dealers list for a m2 CSL should it ever happen but in Australia you need to be J K Rowling to get one as the M4 CSL allocation was on a 1000 word comment competition clearly my comment wasn't good enough as they didn't offer me one
