I feel the same way about this rear end. I love every angle of the M2 the same way I love every other angle of the M3/M4 other than the front.

They should have just called it the M2 Competition. Not sure what they will add aside from wheels and a few cosmetic bits.

Only thing I like about the M2 is the side profile. Don't think I will ever fall in love with this sadly. Good thing I was never a buyer or I would be looking for a used M2 right now

Never thought I would be saying this in 2022 but the m2 would look great with some "eyebrows" on the headlights. Lotta empty space between the projector and the hood/bumper/fender.

I am so disappointed. Whoever runs the design show at BMW these past couple of years needs to go and go fast. All their electric cars departed from their ICE counterparts' design for unknown reasons and departed in an ugly way.

Now you have the M2 front end looking like a lego car or something. I was eagerly waiting for the new M2 after selling the last gen M2 a year ago. Now I wish I kept it despite almost getting what I paid for it! I hope they design a car soon that I want. I've had M2, M3, M5 and X5M's. I have just the X5M's now and really wanted an M sedan in the garage. The wait continues...

There are some basic rules to aesthetics and design. BMW seems to try to break as many of those as they can lately.

Hahahah. When I showed it to my wife she asked if it was a modded Subaru. And she is in no way a car person. So if JDM is the audience BMW was going for, then they nailed it.

And surrounding camera which is already on M240i, more colors, a bit different front lip like the old M2 and M2 comp.
