Fuse box making crackling noise

I have been experiencing battery drain and my fuse box will make a cracking noise while the battery is dead and I am charging it… it is constant. Also it will make that noise for a couple seconds when the battery is charged and I insert the key phob. Please help! Any ideas?

You might have loose connection in B+ cable which ends in
fuse box. If you wiggle the cable does the crackling go away and
are you sure that your battery is drained dead ?
You lose all electricity if B+ cable is loose and it's common fault
