Adaptive Headlight

Left headlight had condensation. Replaced headlight cover this past weekend. Looks like one of the clips on the top cover was broke so water got in the headlight and fried my adaptive module

Went ahead and replaced module with a used unit off Ebay but of course, it needs to be programmed.

Can someone please point me in the right direction and

1) provide a link or instructions on where to purchase the software
2) instructions on how to program

I did a quick google search and found Mike's easy tool or something but the site is somewhat outdated and not sure if the software is still valid

Thanks brothers

INPA to check status & test.
NSCEXPERT to code

Many threads on site for software and use.
I had long/steep learning curve but was able to do same eventually.

Just coded adaptive module today. Strangley enough condensation in my headlight too. Swapped with a used one. Needed new module anyway.

As mentioned above use NCSExpert.

I don't remember the exact steps. It's all the short term memory loss I forgot about.
Started with hitting the start button. Then selecting an ECU. Think it was under CAS. Dig down through the additional ECU's until you find the one you want.

Anyhoo the module you want to code is called LSMC for the left light, RSMC if you're doing the right side.

Good luck. If you are brand new to coding look for the INPA, ISTA, etc tools in the coding forum or get them from BimmerGeeks website.

Bimmergeeks protools app makes it easy.
