Car cover questions...e93 Cabrio

Well, winter is coming (insert GOT joke here) and decided that the 911 is not sitting outside, the e93 cabrio is since the top is a hard top retractable. Anyone here live in a snowy cold climate and used a car cover? Debating if it's really worth the expensive of one of those car capsules. I mean, it is just a car after all but i'd like to do what's best for it. If a regular outdoor rated car cover will do the trick and cause no damage, then I'm fine. THX

As long as you service your roof rubbers once a year, there's no need. It will be fine outside. And the AGM battery easily lasts a month even in the cold (I tried).
