Alfa 159 in Quantum of Solace
The first 10 minutes of the movie is nothing short of sensational. I wonder how many of us 3-series owners (especially 325/328 owners) will dump the slow and boring looking bimmer for a sexy and loud Alfa 159 if you had the chance?

i dont want to offend you but in my experience Alfa has a great design but everything else is crappy build quality is really bad also on the new models.
The only thing what i like is the quad cam V6 which is one of the best V6 made during this time. |

I would love to give one of those a test drive, especially on those windy roads
Unfortunately the first 10 minutes were the best / only good parts of the movie. DIddnt hold a candle to Casino. Thread Jacked. Sorry

I'd rather go for the Alfa Brera (the coupe version) since it's gorgeous. However, it's just as slow if not slower than the 328. And for those who are concerned that it's FWD, I believe they have an AWD version as well. The Alfa's should be coming to the USA around 2010. I can't wait to see them in the metal (especially the spider). Beautiful cars inside and out. I just wish they would drive as well as they look.

They break down all the fucking time, spend more time in the shop than at your home. Totally not worth it.

Not a chance. Alfas looks sexy as fuck, but there's not much more to 'em than that.
From what seems to be a unanimous statement from multiple reviews, they have the structural rigidity of a toothpick, and they have pathetic reliability. Btw, how the hell did they keep up with the DBS?

They do have very sexy looks in the flesh, but same problems as the 159. The AWD version here is a 256hp 3.2 V6 (GM based.....) and is very heavy at 1.7 metric tonnes. See: http://carsguide.news.com.au/site/ne...any_let_downs/ Having said that a couple of my friends have either 159's or Brera's and love them. |
