This does not bode well for the future G87 M2 CS

Or maybe it does? I suspect some will be delighted, while others will not.

That makes me happy. I do not want xDrive or AT. It might free folks ahead of me on allocation for the G87.

Dang, the title should be 'This does not bode well for those hoping the LCI M3/4 will get a revised front bumper'.

BMW has already extended the cycle of the g80 longer than normal so I can see them milking this generation with multiple special models before and after LCI. This M3 CS has a production from 3/23 to 2/24 which lines up to end just before the expected LCI2 comes out. Even ygulden has said they'll have another special version:

"There will be another special M3 model in 2024-2025, either another run of M3 CS (based on LCI2) or something similar."

Cammo threw me off. At first I thought the car looked nice and the I realized it was a G80 and not a G87. Agh!

So "bode well" for the M2 means heavy XDrive and heavy automatic transmission?????

I couldn't disagree more!

You miss the not?

Personally, I prefer my sports coupes with a manual trans and RWD.
