OTA software update available now in US (07/2022.58)

Finally a new update. I suspect the M240i logo and M font cluster will appear now for those of you that do not have it. Check the MyBMW app for update.

Anyone lose settings? Lost my seat presets, remote start, and some things through Bimmercode.

Lost my seat pre sets that was it. And it made my suspension more stiff and holds revs longer in sport mode.

Not sure about my seat presets,but I had to reactivate remote start ,other people did say they lost Bimmercode settings but that’s pretty normal with updates,thanks to people on this forum I held off on coding the car till after I did the update

You will always lose any changes you've made with Bimmercode when you install an OTA update

Is this an update that is only meant for iDrive7 vehicles?

I have iDrive8 and didn't see an update pop up.

Still have not received this and had car in for service recently they didnt addtress it

You need to tell them they won’t do it on their own. It’s odd that it’s not showing an update available in you MyBMW app?

It looks like Android auto got an update with this as the YouTube music app is a bit improved. Not sure if that's tied to the iDrive release or if the phone feeds the car the Android auto software and the app was coincidentally updated with me upgrading iDrive.

I noticed the other day that the nav screen display looks different so I'm assuming my car got the update. However i don't recall seeing any type of notification about it.

Nope, you didn’t get an update! It will only update if you authorise it & and carry out very specific steps.
