About $10k-15k landed. These come up all the time, no they're not "that" rare.
If anybody wants to import one, just PM me, these come up all the time in Japanese auction houses. They're not an everyday thing, but at least once a week to about once every two weeks: one these comes through the woodwork. There was a beautiful Auction grade 4 (meaning EXCELLENT shape) '72 Skyline GTR that went for $11k USD a couple weeks ago. All original, 50k km's on it, which is 30k miles. These cars aren't NEARLY as rare as you guys think, honestly. If you want a Rare car, check out the (1967-1970 produced) Toyota 2000GT's. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_2000GT ^Good luck finding one of those. Last time I saw one of them for sale, it commanded a $300k price tag.

^ Actually, no its the same. You guys have different import laws, abiet when they're ALL taken into consideration in relevance to ours its about the same all things considered. And yes, you can still import these for the same prices I mentioned.
I dont know everything about US import laws, but I do know the prices you can get these landed for, and what restrictions you guys face.

Yeah, the Skyline's nice, but since it's popular, there have been quite a few of them imported.
My buddy back in Washington state had an Isuzu 117 coupe, styled in Italy by Guigiaro. At the time it was one of 3 known in the US. Since they aren't popular, I can't imagine that there are many more than that now...
