Is anyone's Apple Car play really choppy in their 2023 M240i?

I love the ID8, but the Apple Car play will randomly disconnect itself, and then reconnect..

Any solutions to this issue, or similar experiences, please share your thoughts..

No issues here in the last 3ish weeks. Streaming music, making calls, etc all pretty smooth for me.

Only thing I noticed is it disconnects fairly quickly when taking the phone out of the car

In my ID7 car, when I have carplay issues, I hold the volume/power button on the idrive down until it reboots. Its fixed every issue for me so far, not sure if it works on ID8.

Does this happen at 183 and 360?

This happens for everybody, every make and model in Austin.

There is an FBI facility nearby

Yeah, I have the same issue occasionally where CarPlay will just stop, but then reconnect 10-20 seconds later. Bit weird..

I'm not sure actually, but that's crazy if it does, lol. Do you know specifically where on 183, and 360? I drive 183 every day, and 360 occasionally…

Yes. It will disconnect for 10-20 seconds and then reconnect again.. Annoying lol!

It's basically around the point that they intersect.

On 183 just north and south of 360, and on 360 just east and west of 183
