Anyone else notice the recent OTA update made the suspension more firm and holds revs longer in sport / sport plus? You're not imagining this I was told this is part of the "function updates and quality enhancements" because owners were complaining it wasn't firm enough. Pretty nice actually as it's all software driven electronics so easy for them to code.

Mine already holds the revs high forever. Wonder how it’ll be. Just did the update tonight.

Always been higher in sport plus vs sport previously. They are adjusted more now.

Couldnt one just do this by using the paddles. It overrides the automated shifting.
But yes I do get what your saying that if left by itself the shift points are higher now when it automates the shifting.

It’s in the My BMW app. If you didn’t get it, call your local service center to have them install it. You could also call BMW connect.

I really like that the M240i logo is top-center now, the numbers are M font (squared off), dials changed from red to more dark tone (so the needle stands out more), and the ///M colors are at the bottom of the speedo in sport mode.

Small changes but nice.

I really like the i7 "dials". I have i8 on my2023 M240 and I wish you could have the option to have the previous style, including the cool M240 logo in the middle.

I'm talking more about the speedo and tach. Mine look nothing like that and I would far prefer them

May be a silly question(s)...

1. How do I see what software version I have? Or better yet, where is the info? I looked at the app which only states that I am up to date and no upgrades are available. I would like to know the version.

2. Is the update only for the MY22? On MY23, I do not have the M240i logo on the instrument cluster. Not a huge deal. Just want to ensure that I am not missing anything.

Completely different ID versions - hence only ID7 gets the logo. Maybe the next update will add it to the ID8 display.

I hope the ID8 gets a similar update only because I dont like the font on the tach and speedo digits The new font on the ID7 looks much better than before, at least IMO.
