Team Principle Shuffle....

Well its all change for F1 Team principles.

Fred Vasseur to Ferrari - worst kept secret ever

Andreas Seidl From McLaren to Sauber - now this is a bit of a surprise, he has been great at McLaren so a move to Sauber wasn't expected but hey with Audi moving into them and his past on he goes.

Andrea Stella appointed to Principle in McLaren from Race engineer.

The Seidl move surprised me quite a bit. I think Seidl was a huge part of turning McLaren around...I think he will be great at Sauber.

Now need to see who the next principal of Williams is. That was another surprise, I thought Jost was enjoying his role there.

Yeah its a larger shuffle than the drivers for me. Don't think I've ever seen so many team Principles moves from one team to another or leave the sport. Audi certainly want Seidl to drive the team with his past.

It will be very interesting to see how Fred gets on at Ferrari, he seems a pretty tough non nonsense character away from some of the 'passionate' (not always a good thing) leaders they have had recently. So could be a good move.

Fingers crossed Willams gets someone from within motorsport to lead things, surprising again he has left without a successor to be announce.

Not at all.

This is a huge power move by Audi/VAG - they put one of the top three principles in F1 as the CEO of Sauber AND he's German.

Audi is planning on a reaaalll big debut in 2026.

"In anticipation of Sauber being the Audi works team from 2026 onwards the appointment marks a promising choice by Sauber. “We welcome our future partner’s choice,” commented Oliver Hoffmann, CTO of AUDI AG. “Andreas Seidl has extensive experience in leadership roles across motorsport programs on both the manufacturer and Formula 1 team side. His track record in motorsport is impressive.”"

Yeah it seems he told the McLaren team that he was going to leave for the 2026 season and instead of carry on they said that's fine we are done now.

Fair enough but its quite a loss for McLaren I wouldn't be at all surprised if they are looking for a bigger hitter as a replacement.

I honestly feel bad for Lando... He needs to get out and grab Perez' seat.

Audi isn’t messing around. Audi might lack F1 experience and the technical know-how to compete in F1, but given their actions ahead of their debut, Audi should be competitive with the top teams sooner rather than later.

Now that would be very interesting indeed, he is the fastest driver in a none leading car by a margin. I think he would be way faster than Perez in the same seat, Verstappen, Mmmm it would be interesting to find out.

MAX beats a 7-time World Champion twice in 2021 and 2022 , with 25 victories .
2023 ?
Copy&Paste

Lando would drive in MAX shade ,just like Checo does .
