Catback AND downpipe on the car
Hi, I'm expecting my full Milltek catback shortly, and I'm shopping for catted downpipes.
I read a lot and saw a lot of videos, but often the car only has one of the two, only the downpipe or only the catback. Are there people here who have both on their car, really turboback, do you think it will sound too loud on a daily basis? |

I have the dinan intake, AA DP and the Cat back Milltek
It's got a great sound in sport mode. Comfort really tones it down. I get a little drone in sport on a highway up a large inclines when the rpms drop to around 1200-1500 in a higher gear. Blip of the throttle or paddles and it goes away since it changes gears. In comfort it can still happen but it seems less. The sound, pops and burbles make me super happy though. No complaints

ok thank you man, I'm hesitating between the Milltek downpipe and the AA, I plan to put a JB4 too.
You didn't have a CEL? Have you thought about putting the DP Milltek since you already have the catback or your choice was clear that you wanted the DP AA |

Went AA because no cel guarantee. They'll replace it if you get one. Plenty of other brands say you "shouldn't" get one, or use a spacer. I just wanted the easiest and peace of mind. Also at the time there was no exhaust options out for the car. I was going to to dinan or mpe but got tired of waiting and the milltek had just released the full catback for the US market

I have the AA DP and Milltek catback and I honestly find it a bit quiet, but the drone without a muffler was way too much for me so I'm alright with it for now. It sounds great though and I can actually hear my Eventuri intake now, so that's a plus.
Drone is minimal, very very minor at low rpm as mentioned above. Doesn't bother me at all and if you have any music or podcast playing it's basically non-existent.

Honestly the same here. I have a milltek catback with a 200 cell downpipe on and I’m already wanting louder. I have a catless sitting in the garage waiting might have to install.
