Condensation in tail light
Just noticed it this morning while heading out to work. Car is 3 months old, so hoping it won’t be a hassle with the dealership. There might’ve been a tiny bit in the drivers side as well, but didn’t have time to take a good look.

That is disappointing. I have had other vehicles in the past that are plagued with this, and my motorcycle has a problem with this in the instrument cluster.
I wish I understood the problem and cause better. Inadequate sealing, or is it inadequate ventilation? I feel like if it was a design problem, light designers would have figured it out and engineered around it ages ago. So is it manufacturing defect, or maybe its just unavoidable based on a specific sequence of climate exposure events that are prone to causing it? |

Quick update, finally had time to drop the car off at the dealership. While going over everything with the SA, he points out that the passenger side head light also has a ton of condensation in the housing. It must’ve happened just recently since that was my first time seeing it. Rather disappointed that almost all of my lights have broken seals with less than 4000 miles on the car. They gave me a loaner and will update me on Wednesday on what happens next. I’m certain it’ll be a while until they’re able to receive new parts though.
