Supra Wheels for the G42

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone else had attempted to put the OEM bicolored Supra 3.0 wheels on their G42s. I just got some Supra wheels to put on, but I’d love to hear from someone who has done it or knows about the fitment. I have already seen @wolfpack718 on Instagram.

Thank you for the help!

You think you could you fit 245/35 front and 285/30 rear?

I have a set of the OEM supra rims in the matte black. Going to try fitting them on next weekend. I kind of want to use the OEM tires for now just to use them up before getting another set. 255/35 on the 10'' wide might be a bit stretched

could you have fit the 235/40 on the front with no spacers? I just test fitted the rim itself on the front and its like... super close to the strut already.

looks like ass.. will have to put bigger tires on. I tried using the OEM tires that came with the car to try and use them up before I buy a new set of tires. There's too much stretch and wheel gap.

Thank you for sharing! I think the wheels themselves look pretty good though! Some lowering springs and new tires should make it a really clean set up. Throw in some camber and I bet it’ll look sick!

I tried that, and it cleared, but it was way too close to the strut for my liking, so I went with the 4mm spacers.

Overcast skies and dirty car, but hopefully will have some better pictures soon.
Looks nice! Someone try the updated supra wheels now, they're even lighter than these

Has anybody tried the OEM 255F/275R supra spec? Thoughts on running it with spacers?

^I was gunna do that but the difference in tire diameter is more than 1%. Also the fronts will not fit without spacers

What would the issue be with having more than +- 1% diameter difference? Any idea if changing the rears to 265 or 255 instead would work?

Starts to have issues with the Xdrive and transmission down the line , possibly.

You have your rear end turning a certain diameter. Then you have the front end turning a different diameter.

Front and rear diameter needs to match as closely as possible.

The maximum tolerance is up to 1% , .5% is better , obviously

Just picked up a set of the updated Supra wheels (not mounted yet, for next summer...maybe). Not only are they much lighter, but they are made in Germany, unlike most new OEM BMW wheels that are being made in China or elsewhere.

Bring thread back to life! I was on the hunt for some new wheels for my car and happened to see OEM supra wheels are 19x9/19x10 and will give it that 'flush' look. Below you'll see how it fit on my car.

Specs:
245/40/19 with 12mm spacer up front
275/35/19 without spacer on rear

Front fitment:
