Side Decal Strip
(I also have this same build brooklyn gray with shadow line and black wheels coming in a couple weeks)
Thoughts on the side black strip this business sells vs without? I think it looks aggressive and gives nice lines but i didn’t know if it looked like i’m trying to be a corny race car lol |

Makes sense on their car, to advertise their business of selling the parts the car is wearing. Looks nice on the car too.
But I would not put anyone's name on my car, unless they were paying for a significant portion of it. I also imagine you'll be signing up for a frequent conversation with randoms... "What is AUTOID?" "Oh, thats the company that sold me the sticker that says AUTOID" . |

Hmm. Now I cant un-see Autoid. Up until now I had always read it as AUTO (spacebar) I.D. Now I see Autoid. Thanks for giving me something to hang up on as I see the brand name daily. Well wait... maybe thats what it is supposed to be all along?

If you like it, put it on. Who cares what others say! It's your car!
I guess at my age, I have become much less interested in others' opinions about my personal decisions. Enjoy the ride! |

Thanks PNTDG42. I like the BMW ones, and there are several after market ones; however, not sure on the fitment with the non OEM decals. You would have to research that a bit.
If you decide to do it, when the car finally arrives, please share some before and after shots! |

I had the same dilemma, but for the BMW M side decals. I know a lot of people on here are not fans of them, but I kept looking at them while waiting for my M240 to arrive (over 11 months). It finally arrived a couple of weeks ago and I decided to go them on the sides ( I didn't have the bonnet one put on). I'm really pleased with the look. So I'd say do it.

Thanks. It's MW, which I'm very pleased with too, so much more depth, even in the winter (without sun) than I thought it would have. I wanted Thunder night purple, the wife wanted Sapphire black, so we ended up with MW

Not sure how, but mine has this one pre-installed when I got the car. Apparently a port installed option by BMW. Edit: found the part number 51-14-5-A30-FD6: https://www.bmwpartspros.com/oem-par...5a30fd6?c=az0x |

We added it to break up the side of the car as the side profile is a little flat. Made sense to add our logo. Quote:
Ah sh*t. Now you've done me haha. Quote:
Spacing the ID and AUTO apart looks a little weird as a logo. But I Understand the readability issue
