Photoshop job ?.
Looks like airbag suspension (not a fan), might be ok for show ponies but has no place on a performance car. The colour looks great though. Shame Toronto red isn’t actually that colour in reality.

Looks like some clapped-out G37 you'd see on the wrong side of the tracks, racing a Civic.

Buy a “performance” car and promptly ruin the performance! 👌🏻👍🏻

Stock
Don't get me wrong, I like a dropped car but not one that's slammed. Between stock and slammed I'd choose stock every time. |

Meh. The G87 can definitely benefit from spacers and a drop, but I've never been a fan of the bagged look. I guess if your main goal is to park at car shows or you have to traverse giant speedbumps on a regular basis, then it serves a purpose. Otherwise I'd always prefer a statically lowered (within reason) car.

I’m no professional but did this a while back. Lowered, tints, and blacked out mirrors.

That's far too extreme but look how much better the shape of the car looks lowered.
Get this car lowered properly, a set of wheel spacers, and it is gonna transform it ten fold.

Quick question for those that know about the M HAS lowering kit. Can only M certified dealers do that install, or does BMW let any dealer do it? (prefer dealer do the work due to warranty concerns)

I think you would want to avoid a BMW dealer. On the G80/82 forums there's a lengthy discussion about the technical guide replacing tons of factory parts that don't need replacing, and dealers essentially quoting double the required hours for it. I saw one post where someone paid for port installation at almost 3k due to the service requirements.
You will get full factory warranty with any installation by a reputable installer from what I read. And most shops are charging about 1000-1500 for it. All-in you're looking at 3k for the kit installed by an aftermarket shop. Full BMW service will run you about ~4500 for kit and install, if you can even get your hands on the kit. |
