Started my flying journey last year. Other than cars this is my only other current hobby. Wrapping up my Private Pilot License in the next couple months.

I used to do a lot.... photography, travelling the world, building computers, 3D modeling/animation, etc. That all went away when I had kids.
I did hold on to one hobby though... albeit not as frequently as I used to. But every Friday night, when the kids are put to sleep, around 9pm, I sneak out of the house, lace up my Jordans, and play ball with a group of similarly middle-aged out of shape men who once had dreams before they had kids.

My main hobbies are photography and pizza making, but I collect beer glasses and steins from breweries and events I go to. (Apologies for the mess on the shelf)

I religiously collected hot wheels as a child.
Whatever my parents would buy me, I’d get. My wall was full of hot wheels. (Pinned to the wall in their boxes) They’re in a tote now, somewhere around here, or my parents storage… Now, I still collect them, but any/all brands and I only aim for the real world cars. I have 5 Volvo wagons, same body, but all different paint colors. Pretty neat hot wheels did so many versions. I do take them out of the packages now. I had them all crammed in a shoe box, until my wife got a 100 car storage box for Christmas! Now they’re crammed in there, I guess I have more than 100…LOL. |

Also, the fact that the subdivision I live in does not allow portable hoops killed the whole vibe. I had a portable basketball hoop when we moved here in 2015. But, the HOA or whoever the hell sent us a letter in the mail and told us we have to dig it in the ground or we'd get fined. I ended up selling the hoop for like $150~
