I just want the ability to flash multiple cars without buy a separate license each time. Don't really need any of the other features that come with the apps.

Yea that was the plan so far but I just wanted to know if there might be other options. But that tool is amazing I guess I'll have to buy once and cry once.

Ecutek is licensed per VIN. You can not flash multiple cars with a single license on any of the major tuning platforms.

I mixed up the names I'm not 100% sure but vxdiag can it. Do you know anything about it?

Never heard of it. Just so it’s clear, are you wanting to tune multiple vehicles with a single license or are you just looking for a diag tool?

F chassis cars are not J2534 compatible.

It has other protocols that are compatible with bmw and it's an icom equivalent.

If you plan to tune the car yourself, maybe OpenFlashTablet will work for you.

Otherwise, if want any kind of tuning done, or any kind of aftermarket support or community, you’re basically looking at MHD or Bootmod3, both of which are VIN locked, when it comes to F series N55s
