Are there enough car meets in SoCal? Should I start another one?

I’m pretty new to the car scene but I’m connected to a lot of people in the industry.

If I were to start one in Orange County, what would you like to see?

The only bummer about OC meets is we have no fun roads to drive.

Meets are cool and all but meet/rallie’s are the real fun.

Santiago canyon is the closest one I can think of

Yeah the canyon is an ok time, but the cops also know it’s all we got and they’re heavy out there.

If you host something you can certainly count me in tho.

Meets mixed with a drive would be cool. Meet at X, drive to Y, grab some coffee and hang out.

SGR is a not-too far canyon drive. Meet in OC, drive up the canyon, hang out at the top.

I'm new to the OC, and recently did a sunrise drive on Ortega Hwy which I thought was nice. There were no cops in the morning. It was nice but short drive, but I'm eager to find more good roads in the area.

Do the cops show up early on Santiago Canyon?

We’re planning for late February early March. Once in a shitty event goes well. We will have sponsors, raffle, etc..

South OC Cars and Coffee - every Saturday at the outlets in San Clemente. Biggest weekly car meet in the country. Tons of G8X owners show up.

I’ll be there tomorrow ~830am

Check out their IG it’s an epic meet. Multiple Pagani Hyuara known to show up 👀

The secret to South OC C&C is to arrive at 8:31am and drive right in on Via Canon Verde, and for the most part you can get the spot of your choice. If you arrive earlier than 8:30am (they are very strict with this) they will redirect you to the end of the line for everybody that arrived early and it can take as long as 30 minutes before you're in. Of course, if you do get there early you can always make a loop around the block.

The pullouts around Mt Wilson in LA are nice, but too far away
