Did you mean to add a ?
Why would it? My university engineering out-placement and holiday work included placement at a helicopter manufacturer, hovercraft manufacturer and aerospace defence research establishment. Engineering student placement in industry is a well established practice around the world. |

FYI, BMW Plant Spartanburg, BMW’s largest production facility in the world does this heavily in all departments. This post was meant to be a joke. No worries.

From what was written, the people who will be assembling the M2s will have received special training
above the other plant workers. Don't forget that plant also produces certain 2 series and 3 series cars so who knows what those students will be putting their hands on. |

Wait, so you're saying the new M2 is built in Mexico by a bunch of interns?!?! That's it, I'm calling my SA and switching the order to an M8.

I bet there are some members here that are very capable at adapting to build cars. My mechanical engineering background with manufacturing could surely help out some where besides sweeping floors.

My attention to detail would be problematic, my car would take months to build. I'm sure I'd also figure out how to do a sunroof delete.

BMW would never let you even close to the paint booth, knowing how bad you want individual paint.
