Wheel Adapter for 5x120 old gen wheels?

Has anyone tried using the wheel adapter (spacer) that is from ECS tuning?
I'm not talking about sketchy one off ebay, of course lol.

I have an old winter wheel set from F22 that I haven't gotten rid of and wanted to see if anyone tried using the adapter kit.

My initial thought was that it may not be a good idea from safety perspective, but then people run spacers so idk.

People have been using adaptors forever. Imo problem now days is most of these wheels are coming from china or Taiwan and companies just engrave their logos on them so they just import what they can get and turn a profit. Give it some time and over seas will catch up to the new bolt pattern. In fact I would guess there are plenty of vw/audi 5x112 wheels that are correct offsets for our cars.

Yeah, I am sure I can find new wheels that fits my purpose with 5x112 pattern if I wanted.
Wheel adapter linked will cost about 300 for the 4 wheels, so I'm trying to decide if I'd reuse the F22 5x120 set or sell that wheel set and get a new set.

Personally I really like to buy an aftermarket wheel that doesnt require spacers or adapters, now if its some super rare set of BBS's or something then sure I would run adapters. I would think there is still a huge demand for f22 wheels so flipping them should be easy.

All adaptors are dodgy regardless of where you get them, buy wheels with the right pcd.

Yeah it is not fancy wheel set so no need to risk having wheels fall off lol.
I'll likely get 18" wheels for track set and switch to AS tire on ZTK wheels once treads run out.
Just wanted to ask since I'm familiar with changing wheels by DIY but not with spacers/adapters.

You are right, I'll probably not depend on ~20mm chunk of aluminum pieces to hold my wheels lol.
