Hi all just throwing this out there,

Don’t you think it’s weird that BMW created this new Thundernight colour for the 2 series coupe but didn’t add it to the M2? It’s very similar to techno violet from the old M3 days and almost an individual colour in terms of its quality and look. Don’t you think it would have made sense to have it as an option?

Anyone got a photoshop or the new M2 in thundernight for comparison?

The coloring in these looks more like Mopar's original Plum Crazy Purple.

If the m2 was offered in tnm I'd have a hard choice. I really want a purple and love the tnm (would hands down get it on a 240i) but wouldn't want my m2 to bland in with other 2 series. Id probably get the whole car stealth ppf. If individual color was an option I would still prefer twilight purple or wildberry or even more.

I like the techno-violet a lot, but I like the twilight a lil more.

Maybe I’ve grown cynical from reading too many auto forums, but I can’t help but think if our first look at TNM had been on the M2, people would complain that it’s a silly color and would be asking for something else.

I actually think the normal 2 series G42 looks better than the M2 and I can have it in purple. And I’ve got one!

If it was available for the m2 and not the 240i I'd be ecstatic!!

Looks real nice. I might need to wrap mine in purple. Should be easy to DIY given the lego shape

Why would you need to wrap it? Lego doesn't make purple bricks?

It is doubtful that they will bring an exterior color that is exclusive to the G42 M240 over to the G87 M2.

Most of my Challengers were Plum Crazy. I'd be all over this if it were offered.
