New Here, so many questions

She’s a heavy car my ‘23 Brooklyn Grey M240i xdrive. Steering feel is nonexistent. Fast though. Strange driving experience coming from an ‘04 ZHP. Glad to meet you all! Questions to follow!

Congrats on the new ride.

Yeah. The steering feel leaves a lot to be desired. I call it numb. But it’s a great daily. I put the steering in sport and helps a bit.

Curious what driver configuration folks are using?

Here’s mine:

Comfort steering
Comfort dampening
Sport everything else

If your questioning the steering sensitivity, why don’t you set it to Sport?

Same. Love sport plus engine feeling.
Sport trans is perfect for daily driving. Not too crazy and won’t rev toooo high unless necessary

I think the steering is more numb in sport. I still have my ZHP. That’s something special in terms of road feel. Last of the analogues.

You can make mega changes to steering feel with wheel alignment. That may be a large contributor. Perhaps take the car in and have them align it closer to M3/M4 spec. They are sharing platform and suspension geometry after-all, right? I'm not saying its going to make up for all the different hardware tuning, but I bet there is a lot to be found in it.

I’ve come from 10 years of Audis so it’s a huge improvement 😂
