Anyone buying a HEA spec loaner?
Is anyone buying the hea spec and then when their custom build comes in trading in ?
Can this be done ?

Yes, I’m doing it. Will probably end up at the back of the line for the next one (I’m OK with that).

Exactly. I would much rather wait to get exactly what I want rather than rushing into something I would be settling for and all for the sake of being one of the first to have whatever it is. In this case a G87. Furthermore, I cannot tell you the last time I have not ordered a vehicle to my specific specs. It has been quite a while. Last edited by T_U_D; 02-03-2023 at 03:42 PM.. |

No thanks. I'll wait for the car with my name on it built the way I want it.

There’s already a stop sale on these HEA cars for parts. I’m not rolling the dice on getting my build in a couple of months. I’d rather guarantee myself the full summer driving season with my G87. It’s not a Porsche, the customization on this car is pretty limited. There isn’t a spec I’d turn down.

Do you still go around harassing others for fulfilling their childhood dream?

Just confirmed with the dealer that this Alpine White M2 VIN# 3MF13DM08P8D14991 is their HEA allocation. According to the salesman, this will be demoed at the dealership for 30-60 days then offered to those on the list, if no takers then sold at MSRP. Any thoughts on the non-ZB color HEA? East coast btw.

Personally wouldn’t do this as that seems like an awful lot of paperwork/applications and a very inefficient way to buy the car you want. But, you do you, I doubt any CA will turn you down if you say you’re essentially buying 2 cars.

If anyone gets to see any of the HEA cars please post pics, especially of ones with features we have not already seen. AW with cognac is 2 options we haven't really seen yet. Not really ones I'd choose but an still super curious to see.
