G87 Incentives

Hey everyone,

I'll be up front: I'm not expecting anything crazy, if anything at all, in terms of discounts. I know the current market. That said, if a discount is available to me, I want to take advantage of namely:

-Military discount
-College Grad
-Loyalty credit

Separately, I also qualify for a military discount through Truecar. I called my CA and was told that there are NO promotional offers available for any M performance models, but Truecar obviously shows a whole range of M models (except the M2 for now) and the college grad page on the BMW website says "any" model (if financed through BMW).

Just looking for second opinions to see if my CA is feeding me a bum scoop/is misinformed.

One-year pre-application membership is reduced to 6 months if you get a 3-year membership. $500 on M2.

No one knows about Loyalty right now, but your CA is misinformed on the military discount. Also, you don't have to go through truecar, it's much easier to do on the BMW website. Follow the link below, sign in through ID.me, then choose the rebate for a 2 series. Select the dealership you are working with. It's $1k right now. A lead will be generated at your dealership and will provide all the information they need. The only exclusions are the M5 CS and M4 CSL. The military discount includes high performance models.

I have already done this through my dealership. Of course the small print says rebates can change in the future, but this is accurate as of today.

Thanks, I saw this but wasn’t sure if BMW considered the 2 series different than the M2, or any model vs M counterpart for that matter. The wording on the military incentive page says

A wide range of BMW models including high-performance models and Sports Activity Vehicles® are eligible for the BMW Military Incentive. However, some models are excluded from these offers. Check with your local BMW Center for further details.

Not to be pessimistic but the wording seems like BMW is giving license to dealers to pick and choose when they want to offer the discount and for which models. At the end of the day I won’t be too broken up about it but $1,000 is still $1,000.

There is no incentive for a dealership not to offer the discount. The discount is done by the manufacturer, not the dealership. The dealer is not losing anything. If it is not honored then its because the dealer just doesnt understand the program. If you have a problem then DM me and ill try to help work it out.

I got mixed info on the Military discount.

My salesperson mentioned it last year, but now is not committing, one way or the other.

Does this mean the G82 & X4M are the only M models eligible for the Corporate Sales Program? I’ve never bought a new M car but was surprised. Guess I’ll be using my $500 CCA rebate.

Now that we have Finance & Lease numbers, any Loyalty or other offers that apply to the G87 besides the usual suspects? I’m guess not with the high demand/low production but I was taught there is no thing as a dumb question and you lot generally know more than your typical CA.

I posted this in another post about pricing:

Leasing numbers are out now. It is a 52% residual for 15k miles a year, 54% for 12k, and 55% for 10k. MF is .00185 with the option to mark up .0004.

Finance rates are 5.1% with an option to mark up 1%.

No Loyalty

Military discount is $500 financed or leased, $1000 cash.

Corporate program is $500 discount with cash.

edit: I'm in the PNW so other regions may vary.

Thanks for the info. Corporate program is usually nationwide, no? I’m see the M2 as exempt (my post above), doesn’t matter though as it’s a wash with CCA.

Any idea if the CCA discount will stack with the mil discount? I had to cancel my allocation (would arrive 3 months after I left country...) so now I'm waiting a year plus, so time to rejoin to CCA and have the required longevity

Does 7500/year add another % point to the RV? Does BMW add points for Ultimate Care like Audi does for Audi Care? Forgive my ignorance of BMW leasing. I highly doubt l I’ll lease with those low RVs but always good to know all the options.

Thanks in advance.

CCA incintives come from CCA, not BMW. You'll have to ask them about their incintives. I'm not a member.

CCA should stack with factory rebates. They will not stack with other corporate type rebates. For example, I received a rebate from my company on my last BMW and CCA wouldn't pay theirs per these terms,

Not combinable with the following programs: Corporate Sales Program, Group Partner Program, CEL program

Best bet is to call them and confirm.

That’s interesting that you say that the CCA discount comes from the CCA in the US because in Ontario it comes from BMW.You submit the request through the CCA but the actual rebate comes from BMW Canada.

Maybe I'm wrong. I've never seen anyone get this rebate before.

Edit: just confirmed it comes from CCA, not BMW.

The relationship is strange. It is from CCA, but the check is sent from BMW USA. At least the one I received on my F87 was.
