Anyone used Escrow service for out of state transaction??
Anyone used something like Escrow.com or TRED Escrow service to handle out of state transactions? Feedback doing so? Anything to be aware of or should be pretty straight forward?

I wasn't even aware of these services. Are these more for purchases from individuals or dealers as well?

I was contemplating the same. Buyer and I agreed on a cashiers check, with the buyer sending me a picture, my bank confirming that it was a legit cashiers check before we closed out the transaction out of state. They were able to confirm that the funds were drawn for the check to be legitimate from his institution, a credit union. Shop your buyer/seller relentlessly and carefully

I used Escrow.com, once, to sell a watch. The buyer and I agreed to use it, based upon the reviews and how long it's been around. Transaction went very smoothly - no issues at all.
He made the payment to them, they informed me that they received funds, I sent the watch to him. Once he was good with the watch, he notified them and they deposited the money in my account. Very seamless and easy to use. |
