BIMMERPOST

Brooklyn Grey manual beast stalking around in this clip.

Also some great exhaust sounds captured in the underground carpark.

That BG looks nice. I’m not necessarily in the market for one of these, so I may have missed it, but is Hockenheim Silver gone as a factory color for these? They looked so good in that color, and this is at least reminiscent of it.

Everyone is focused on the design and limited colors of the G87. But the real story is the incredible S58T under the hood, and the 3 pedals and shifter in the cabin! Hallelujah!

Some are focused on the removal of the classic BMW gauges and the fact that it weighs 3800lbs.

But the rap music was cool. Very hip.

I think I'm at the point where I like the looks of the G87 over the F87. Is it me or the exhaust is very quiet? EU spec?

Horrid music to go with this! What in the world BMW, couldnt hire Hanz Zimmer or someone on that level of talent? but the car looks cool, would be nice lowered on some 18x11 square 305's.

I actually was going post to the OP that the exhaust sounds are enhanced by being inside of a parking garage.

Its RWD, squares not needed (and no benefit to having but adding the weight). To give the "squared look" you can achieve by aftermarket rim setup or spacers.

I think some track rats might disagree with you about "no benefit".

Uh M2 with every option selected is $76550
Cheapest 911 is $106100 base zero options.

That's $30k difference. Almost 50% more price.

It's not close at all. Lol. Plus I think you'd be hard pressed to find one at that price and if you did it probably is a few years wait.

I know people are cross shopping them but they're not even in the same category.

One is a race car for the street and the other is a street car you can take to the track.

Unless there's a CSL then you don't get the options a 911 has.

I feel like the M2 is a great and fast daily driver and then the 911 is an excellent weekend car.

Of course you can definitely daily a Porsche. But while I'd throw snow tires on the BMW I wouldn't do that with the Porsche.

It's crazy how the markets manage the prices! In Mexico (where I live) the gap between the base M2 and the base 911 is around 15k usd).
Is not that is a small amount but considering that I haven't had one yet I would be a nice jump.
Also the fact that i wasn't able to purchase a f87 M2 and ended up with a m340 make me think of keeping on bmw for few more years.
My main concern is that driving a 911 daily in Mexico is not super safe ..... XD

Maybe track rats who dont understand. There is a reason a GT3 RS is not squared.

If an AWD car, then yes, a squared setup.

That's more reasonable. Base to base it even more. I forget that prices aren't the same everywhere.
