Cognac with Ambient Lighting

I've just ordered my m240i and I'm stuck between cognac or black sensatec. My main concern is how the ambient lighting would clash with cognac when activated (non-m lights). Does anyone have a video or photos of ambient lighting with the cognac interior?

Pretty sure you can't order the car without the M-lighting anymore.

Here's a video where you can kind of see my interior at night. I have cognac. This video was to illustrate the sound from the intake, but you can kind of see. I didn't opt for the M lighting on my '22.

Next time I'm driving at night I'll try to take some better images for you.

I have my windows tinted (35% sides and rear, 70% windshield), so less light coming in, but cognac doesn't clash. If anything, the lighter color amplifies the reflection of the ambient light around the cabin and enhances the volume of light when compared to a black interior.

I'd like to see if that gets accepted by BMW regardless of what the build sheet your dealer accepted is.

They removed ambient lighting options last year around September from what I remember.

Mine got accepted without M-Lights in NC on 2/6. The builder in bmwusa.com now lets you build without M-Lights too.

Thanks for the video, it looks great! Please send some pictures whenever you have the chance. I'm going to switch my interior colour back to Cognac. I'll post some pictures or make a post when I receive my vehicle.
