StageFP OTS DYNO

Looks like you just need to run DSC off to dyno these cars (6MT)

Logs for runs 2 and 3

DSC full off works - 371WHP SAE first run - running fans now, because it’s going to get hot.

4th gear - 1st run.

The IC held up and the logger worked - 378/40x SAE was the next run. I know you STD fakers like using the editing tricks to make yours look bigger - but it’s about 385whp STD - I’ll know when I get the run files

Still waiting on the final run numbers - super linear powerband. I wish I grabbed a picture because they did not send me run files - but the final run was literally almost a flat line for torque and HP.

I got the last run and my run files - Look at that B58 like powerband.

n55david - question is the conversion from wheel speed to RPM a 1:1? he didn't use a RPM hook up, just measured it based on wheel speed.

I checked my spedometer vs the rpm, and it's pretty close. IE 80mph is about 4000RPM (+/- 200rpm) in 4th

Yeah its pretty close as long as there isn't any weird calibration issues on the dyno. So it should give you a rough idea on rpm like you're thinking.. tire diameter/gesring/trans etc all would need to be factored to get the actual rpm but yeah.. should be close if you just check mph vs rpm on the road.. don't forget your displayed mph is off on bmws, so 82mph displayed is roughly 80 or just over 80 actual.

The problem.with not using rpm is that the software has to figure out torque based on acceleration over time and that's backwards.. so yeah you can get goofy torque numbers again if the dyno isn't calibrated properly etc
