lease rates or expected numbers?

Haven’t seen anything posted about leasing these cars. Has anyone gotten any type of quote since deliveries start next month?

Leasing numbers are out now. It is a 52% residual for 15k miles a year, 54% for 12k, and 55% for 10k. MF is .00185 with the option to mark up .0004.

Finance rates are 5.1% with an option to mark up 1%.

No Loyalty

Military discount is $500 financed or leased, $1000 cash.

Corporate program is $500 discount with cash.

edit: I'm in the PNW so other regions may vary.

What do those leasing terms mean in English?

Yeah, leasing is hard. These are the numbers that are used to calculate a lease payment. I guess someone can just contact their CA if they want a lease quote. That's the best I can do here.

No loyalty? That’s disappointing. Is that common?

Lets say an average build of $70k including dest fee.

Deal at msrp...36/10k lease with zero down, would be about $1100/month(Plus tax and fees).

I think the question you are asking is, what does "MF is .00185" mean?

Multiply the Money Factor by 2400, that gets you your lease interest rate. Sometimes, at some brand shops, you'll find an unscrupulous salesperson or F&I person that will tell you "the rate is 185" when in fact, a .00185 Money Factor is 4.44%. I'd be surprised if you find a shop that does not mark up that money.

Agreed if there's no loyalty. I feel like that's pretty odd for them to not offer loyalty on the M2.

M2 doesn't lease well, never have.

Put it into perspective. With 55% RV, .00185 MF(36/10).

No option M2 at msrp with zero down, $999/month...plus tax/fees.

Most dealers are marking up .0004 as allowed by BMW FS. We are.

I don't think any of the coupes ever lease well. Especially the 2 series. The residuals are seemly always worse than 4 door equivalents.

I think these are just the times we live in until BMW needs help selling cars again. Heck, I'm paying MSRP and I'm a client advisor. I still think it's a better buy than an M240 with a huge discount (which I could get as a BMW employee). But I'm getting the car I want. What's my other option? Pay almost MSRP for an F87? That doesn't make sense to me.

F82 M4 always leased better than a F87 M2. M4 residuals were regularly above 60%, rather than low 50's for F87.

Just ran numbers through a lease calculator the way I would build mine.. no discounts and no money down and the payment is way over what I would pay for a 66k car…. Ouch

I remember looking at M2s since they released and they have always been over $1k/mo for a lease in Los Angeles.

M2s are an obvious buy vehicle. They have good residuals in the market so very little risk in buying and selling. Always some risk with getting into an accident and value dropping but even then you should come out ahead.

I mean if it's a more expensive lease couldn't that mean in like 2-3 years you'll have like 5-10K worth of Equity because it will have higher re-sale value, depending on the amount of money put down?

MSRP for a CA? That's obscene! Is the profit still the same as I last heard - 3% on the front end at MSRP, with another 3% holdback, for a total of 6%? If so that's a fat 5-figure profit for your employer, so that the owner can make a couple of yacht payments. Absurd way to treat employees.

Damn, is your dealer owned by a large dealer group?
