Dinan B58 Gloss Carbon Fiber Engine Cover review
I just received the newly released Dinan B58 Engine Cover in Gloss Carbon Fiber. It's also available in Matte Carbon Fiber.
INSTALLATION: EASY Very easy. Just pop off the stock engine cover, install the included 4 rubber grommets onto the new engine cover and pop it back on. Only minor thing to take note is that the rubber grommets are really hard to push into the tabs on the new engine cover. I use a flathead screwdriver to push in around the perimeter of the rubber grommet, otherwise it's almost impossible to push it in. QUALITY: 10/10 Full carbon prepreg construction, no pin holes, perfectly smooth finish, neatly trimmed edges. The white Dinan lettering and stripes are vinyl and the 6 painted white accents are all under the clearcoat. An interesting feature is the contrasting carbon fiber finish on the 6 accent strakes. For gloss carbon fiber, these strakes are matte. PRICE: 9/10 Very well priced as with all Dinan parts. PERFORMANCE: 4/10 Purely cosmetic part of course however it feels about half as light as the stock engine cover which 5-6 lbs. The stock insulation foam isn't reused, so perhaps very slightly better cooling and very slightly more engine noise? All plusses to me.

if the white stripesc are above the clearcoat you could remove the dinan and replace it with BMW?
