IND | BMW M Performance G87 M2 Carbon Front Air Inlet Set

The BMW M Performance Parts for the car’s aerodynamics, powertrain, chassis and cockpit offer a wide variety of options for customizing the new BMW M2 with maximum performance in mind. All the components were developed on the back of BMW M GmbH’s motor-racing expertise and the experienced it has garnered over five decades, and have been precisely tuned to match the two-door model’s specific characteristics.

The carbon fiber add-on parts for the front, sides and rear are made from carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic. They optimize the car’s aerodynamic properties while also accentuating its racing aura with a clear coat finish that exposes the composition of fibers beneath. The M Performance carbon air intake trim ensure the new BMW M2 makes a particularly striking impression.

Perhaps having a Pre PPF’ed option might be good for these? Imagine a day on or off track and finding some stone pepper marks on them (insert tears).

Regardless, thanks iND!

Hopefully there is a non cf option, satin black would be ideal.

Same for the rear fin, I'm hoping someone such as IND does a black version of the same rear wing the bmw perf is doing in cf.

I’ve been debating on getting the CF air inlets or holding out to see if someone made these in a black or gloss black finish. I can’t decide if I want the inlets to match the gloss black area of the front bumper or to match whatever CF splitter and side skirts I eventually install

I’m not the biggest fan of gloss black myself, would rather go for a matte CF look. I have a set of the 827m wheels in satin black that I’m gonna throw on the M2 when I get it and I didn’t think about tying those in with the other bits so that’s a good point. Also I forgot the CF inlets are wet CF so they kind go with the existing gloss black area anyway I guess. I feel like the gloss black area of the front bumper is gonna clash with the look I eventually want to pull off.

This is why I'm going with piano black wheels, based on all the gloss already on the car. Not my first pick, but I think it'll work well.

Someone will come up with a way to color match the lower front lip properly. I'm banking on it!

Does the front need to be dismounted to install the front air inlets?
Or how do I get the original black inlets removed?
