New M2 Driving in Scottsdale, AZ

Hey all,

Long time reader of this forum first time poster. I’ve been following the new M2 since 2021 always waiting for the day to finally see the new M2. While on my way home from work I spotted on the other side of the road to new M2s. One was Toronto Red and the other was The light blue (can’t remember the name right now). I tried to take as many photos as I could while driving by myself, hence they aren’t the greatest photos. Regardless, here they are attached. I thought they looked great on the road.

Amazing how skinny 285 section tires look

As much as I love the car, I really struggle with that rear bumper. Good golly.

The rear bumper kinda sits high. You put a nice drop on it and wow !!

It's the "I beam" that gets me most.

Someone with photoshop skills needs to change it to body color to see how that looks. Surprised we haven’t seen that attempted yet

I kinda like the triangles at each end of the I lol. Must be growing on me. My car is ready for transport. I think you will appreciate it when you get it. Spacers and lowering springs are really going to emphasize how mean it looks.

There's a channel on YouTube I check out called SketchMonkey. He did the same thing. His videos on the M2 aren't spectacular but it's a good reference for how designers think.

That's Bembi. Great channels. He liked the M2 and picked it over the RS3.

My bad, I misinterpreted and was referring to the reflector cartridges that are in gloss black. But your edit to the bumper is a huge improvement and if it were paired with better integrated reflectors would look miles better than stock.

***For those looking as to where they are parked in Scottsdale. I saw in an earlier thread today the three M2's parked (the photos with the red, blue and grey M2s on instagram). They are located in the Andaz hotel parking lot off Scottsdale and Lincoln. Now, im not sure if they are still there or will be tomorrow, but thats where that photo was taken today.

Looks great! If the reflector went all the way down to the bottom of the box, that would be perfect and much much better than stock.

Not a huge fan of ZB. My order is in for TR. Why do I have a feeling that despite it's initial hate, that ZB is going to end up being the classic color for this? It's already growing on me a bit. That last picture is very nice. Allocation isn't in yet, I may have some thinking to do. My advisor is supposed to let me know when their HEA is in so I can check it out. Will be able to see the blue in person then.

I live less than 2 miles from there. Will give a look tomorrow after morning hike.

ZB might be the classic color down the road. However, I plan to live with the car for 30+ years and ZB cannot do for me. I would prefer going Individual (Fire Orange) but I think I can live w/ TR. Screw the next collector.

It looks better in person than in pictures. It's also exclusive to the model, it will definitely be popular down the road, along with M Highlight seats.
